What's included in every install
- Removal: existing grass, roots, and debris are removed and hauled away.
- Grading: the yard is graded so water drains away from your foundation.
- Base: a crushed-rock or decomposed-granite base is spread and compacted for a flat, stable surface.
- Weed barrier: laid under the base to stop weeds from breaking through.
- Turf: cut to fit, seamed, and secured at every edge.
- Infill and grooming: infill is spread to support the blades, then the turf is brushed upright.
- Cleanup and walkthrough: the site is cleaned, and we walk the yard with you.
Why turf makes sense in Buckeye
Buckeye summers regularly top 110°F, the ground is often hard caliche, and the Phoenix area gets fewer than eight inches of rain a year. Keeping grass green in those conditions takes a lot of water, and even then it often browns out by August or goes dormant in winter.
Turf also ends the rest of the lawn routine: no mowing, edging, fertilizing, weed killer, or reseeding. What's left is an occasional rinse and brushing.
Built for Arizona heat, honestly
We install UV-stabilized turf designed for desert sun. It won't turn brown, but it's worth knowing that any artificial turf gets hot in direct afternoon sun, much hotter than natural grass. Lighter colors, cooling infills, and shade all help, and we'll talk through those options at your estimate. Quality turf typically lasts 15–20+ years in Arizona sun.
